  • Every evening from 5:30-8:30. The Friday night will be a social sail as a crew member on one of our keel boats followed by a BBQ social.
  • For ages 10-14. Sessions start at 9:00 and end at 4:00.


Important Information

- This online registration does not guarantee acceptance into the program. A confirmation email and cashing the full payment guarantees acceptance.

- If you are on the waitlist, no payment is necessary to hold your place.

- For those that are on the participant list, payment must be received no later than March 15, otherwise your registration will automatically be canceled.

-Preferred method of payment is an e-transfer made to psss-treasurer@hotmail.com - this is direct deposit so no pass code is needed. Please Indicate ' sailing school' under notes. Also, in the notes, indicate the e-mail of the payee, the participant name, whether the participant is in the youth or adult program.

- Alternatively, a cheque made payable to Port Stanley Sailing Squadron can be mailed to: Port Stanley Sailing Squadron, 305 Sailor's Alley , Port Stanley, Ontario Canada N5L 1C2 - if you pay by cheque, then please inform the sailing school committee chair * by e-mail so that we can watch for the cheque

- If the program is cancelled due to increased Covid restrictions, then a full refund will be given.

- If a participant chooses to withdraw, refundability would depend on whether we can fill the spot. Note that it would be easier to fill a spot if a participant withdraws earlier (ie: before July)

- Some paperwork will also need to be filled out on or before the first day of the sailing school. Please allow 15-20 minutes to complete the paperwork on that first day.

- Please note that sailing is an activity that involves inherent risk. Some of the paperwork on that first day will ask that you acknowledge that fact.

- Please note that, during Covid, any gathering involves inherent risk. Although Covid protocols will be in place, there will be periods of time when the participant is less than 2 metres away from other people. Some of the paperwork on that first day will ask that you acknowledge that fact.

-Please note that anyone experiencing Covid symptoms, or anyone coming into close contact with someone who is experiencing Covid symptoms must not participate in the sailing school until symptoms are gone and the person has tested negative.

- Participants are to bring their own life jacket / PFD, mask and replacement mask, lunch / snacks, boat shoes (as well as shore shoes), a hat, sunscreen, a change of clothes etc...
